CAFE CORALIE

If you know me, you know I love a good cafe, especially french patisserie’s! When I first started driving, I always wanted to drive to Evanston(not considered Chicago, but definitely close enough) because I loved (and still love) the downtown area filled with cafes and places to eat. So, when I got my license, I decided to drive my mom and I to a little place called Patisserie Coralie. The inside had a nice and clean white look with cute French bistro chairs. We enjoyed a nice afternoon munching on buttery croissants and drinking flavorful coffee. Fast forward to a few years later, they opened another location in Evanston by the name of Cafe Coralie and of course I had to make a stop! The new location is just as good as the original. The macarons and chocolate croissants are delicious, there isn’t one bad flavor! In the summer I take a break from my iced coffee and swap it for iced tea. I had a fresh berry iced tea, which was refreshing and not too sweet(they also have environmentally friendly straws!). The interior is super chic with the continued white theme, cozy couches, and elegant burlap-backed chairs. If you are ever in the Evanston area or are looking to satisfy that sweet tooth that won’t go away(I can never say no to dessert) definitely give it a try. You won’t be disappointed! Grab your friends and go for a nice afternoon bite!
